Portuguese media group, Impresa, has selected WoodWing’s multi-channel publishing solution, Enterprise, to be the publishing system for its weekly newspaper, Expresso, as well as a portfolio of its magazines and digital products.
In the first phase of development, the production of all print titles and their digital editions for tablets and smartphones will be migrated to WoodWing’s system. During the next stage, the online offerings will also be integrated in the publishing workflow provided by Enterprise.
“With Enterprise as our new publishing system, we have the flexibility to handle the production of all current and future titles in print, online and digital in an efficient and transparent manner,” said Raul Carvalho das Neves, COO operations and technology at Impresa. “This way, we can quickly and efficiently offer our readers the most compelling content via all appropriate channels and devices.”
“We are very pleased that with Impresa, we can welcome one of the leading media groups in Southern Europe as a new customer,” said Roel-Jan Mouw, CEO of WoodWing Software. “This shows that we hit the mark with the latest version 9 of Enterprise, enabling publishers to redefine and consolidate their multi-channel publishing processes.”
