Burda Thailand will assume all publishing and advertising sales responsibilities for the title with effect from the August issue.
Burda Asia CEO Julie Sherborn commented: “Media Expertise International has done a fabulous job building Prestige into an admired Thai brand and we thank them for their commitment and expertise. Given our own development plans for the Asian region, it is time for us to take the Thai edition back to Burda, in order to align it with our wider strategic objectives for the brand in Asia and beyond.”
Germany-based international media company Hubert Burda Media acquired the Prestige brand in Asia in 2011. The Thai edition has been published, under license, by MEI for the past eight years.
