Rodale appoints Beth Buehler to lead digital operations and strategy
Rodale has announced that Beth Buehler has been named senior vice president of digital operations and strategy – a newly created position for the company.
Buehler will report to Rodale president Scott Schulman and joined the company’s executive team on 6 February. Buehler will be based in Rodale’s New York office. She will lead, unify, and coordinate key digital functions across the company’s portfolio of world class brands, which includes Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Prevention, Runner’s World, Organic Gardening, and Bicycling, as well as Rodale Books and Rodale’s, the healthy lifestyle etail store launched last year.
Buehler joins from Getty Images, where she served as head of digital ventures. Prior to that, she held several key positions at Dow Jones and Company, including general manager of MarketWatch, amongst other positions.
Said Schulman: “Creating this position is the first step in our broader digital plan. We’re particularly focused on expanding video and mobile presence – areas where both audience and advertiser dollars are moving rapidly.”
Rodale has 95 editions of its brands in 60 countries, and is a FIPP member company.
