Sanoma partners with SBS to launch new online video platform

World famous documentaries, films and series

The editorial team from ‘Ouders van Nu’ comes across a lot of interesting video content in the course of producing their magazine. The programme buyers from SBS Broadcasting have acquired the rights of documentaries such as ‘The Miracle of Life’ from Lennart Nilsson and ‘Baby Power’, which are now available through the new video platform. ‘KIJK Ouders van Nu’ also offers reality series like ‘One Born Every Minute’ and ‘A Dad is Born’, as well as practical information like a pregnancy yoga course.

KIJK is developing into the Dutch video-on-demand platform to watch

KIJK.nl already offers video content from SBS Broadcasting’s Free-To-Air TV-channels SBS6, Net5, Veronica and SBS9 in a well-organised manner. It also offers many extras in the form of exclusive series and clips. The ‘KIJK Ouders van Nu’ channel is now added to this as well.

Video subscription business model

Parents-to-be have the opportunity to buy a video subscription to ‘KIJK Ouders van NU’ for EUR€5.95 a month. Magazine subscribers pay only €4.95 monthly. ‘KIJK Ouders van Nu’ is available on desktop, tablet or mobile phone.
