Sanoma is to sell 19 of its Dutch titles, including Home and Garden, Seasons, Motor and Procycling to New Skool Media.
As part of its strategic redesign announced in October 2013, Sanoma declared a restructure in the Netherlands consisting of a magazine portfolio rationalisation. The company will focus on 17 magazine brands and their extensions and specials, growing them in digital media, with ecommerce and events.
Seven titles within the men’s and glossy portfolio are not part of this transaction and remain under strategic review. Sanoma estimates the process to be complete by the end of this year.
