Sociedad de Editores ABC1 launches Lonely Planet Traveller in Argentina
Sue Coffin, director of magazines at Lonely Planet, said: “We’re thrilled to see our award-winning magazine available in Argentina. Spanish and Portuguese speakers across Latin America are already able to buy Lonely Planet’s iconic travel guidebooks in their native language and the new addition of the Argentina Magazine will help build on the company’s strong brand awareness in Latin America.”
Hernan Simó, chief editor of ABC1 said: “It’s with great pleasure that we are able to bring the Lonely Planet magazine to Argentine readers. Lonely Planet’s travel authority is well regarded in Argentina and we look forward to building upon this. As well as covering global travel destinations, the Argentine edition will also feature locally-generated domestic content reflecting Argentine travel trends.”
Lonely Planet Traveller Argentina will be published monthly and the first issue is on sale this month.
