Vanity Fair UK partners with Grow by Facebook and Founders Forum to launch podcast series
The Making Of… will tell the stories of the leading game-changers, artists, scientists, technologists, entrepreneurs and inventors across industries.
Kate Slesinger, publishing director of Vanity Fair says: “Vanity Fair UK is proud to partner with Grow by Facebook and Founders Forum on creating this podcast series. Through this partnership, we will welcome guests who are extremely distinguished in their field, to share their personal stories as well as their journeys of growth and development that will inspire listeners.”
Nicola Mendelsohn, vice president for EMEA for Facebook, adds: “As a business we are privileged to work every day with some of the world’s most exciting companies and leaders. We are increasingly being asked by these partners – traditional brands and disruptive newcomers, creators and creatives – to connect the dots between them. This partnership between Vanity Fair, Founders Forum and our Grow by Facebook programme for The Making of… podcast is an exciting and vital component of that ambition to help business leaders keep ahead by creating and curating insightful content and experiences.”
Brent Hoberman, chairman and co-Founder of Founders Forum, says: “We feel privileged to have had thirteen years of hearing inspirational insights from some of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, thought leaders, young innovators and cultural icons at our Founders Forum events around the world. These stories have always been shared in the privacy of Founders Forum events. What is exciting about the podcast is that we can now share these incredible and often moving stories with a wider audience, who will hopefully enjoy and learn from them – as much as we have. We are delighted to have co-created this podcast with our partners Vanity Fair and Grow by Facebook.”
Series one guests include: HuffPost co-founder Arianna Huffington, Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales, Harvard molecular and developmental biologist Dr. Daisy Robinton, Skype co-founder Niklas Zennström and Instagram fashion director Eva Chen.
Weekly episodes will be available from 1 November on Entale, a podcasting app that allows the audience to interact with extra content including behind the scenes images of the interviews, as well as Stitcher, Apple Podcasts or any other major podcasting platforms.
