Xavier Romatet named Condé Nast International vice president
Romatet joined Condé Nast France as president in April 2006. As he joins the executive committee, Condé Nast Italy president Giampaolo Grandi will step down from his role on the council where he has played a role since it began in the late 1990s.
These moves can be considered part of an occasional rotation of committee membership aimed at bringing fresh voices to the highest level of organisational leadership. The company said Grandi has played a key role in the executive committee for many years.
“It is a great honour to join the executive committee and I look forward to contributing to the important work it does as an undisputed leader in shaping the media of tomorrow”, said Romatet.
Condé Nast is a member of FIPP.
