According to the 244 marketing influencers surveyed in August, email marketing takes the lead in effectiveness. Content marketing is just as effective (45 percent) but is beaten by email in terms of ease of execution.
So, while social media might be all the hype, the relatively old school format email obviously still is the way to go. This indicates that things are relatively steady in the online marketing and lead generation world.
