About the MBMC
Back in 2005 FIPP understood there was a need in the industry for quality professional development for publishers.  The training needed to provide magazine managers with the opportunity to learn from and network with peers from all over the world, along with gaining global insights into the industry in order to help bridge the gaps in their knowledge and experience.  It had to not only deliver cohesion of all the disparate skills and disciplines required to run a magazine, but be a hands on learning experience giving tools and knowledge that could be taken away and used to directly benefit  their daily roles and magazine businesses.  The Magazine Management Certificate (MMC) was born – quality professional development.  

Realising the need to ensure its adaption into to digital world and the change required to now think of and manage the magazine as a whole brand – this initial programme was re-branded to the Magazine Brand Management Certificate (MBMC) in 2010.  Now in its 10th edition, the programme has had to continuously evolve each and every year to meet the ever-changing demands of our industry and the role of the publisher alike.  The programme has advanced in to an all-encompassing experience of invaluable learning, networking, and forwarding thinking to ensure those who attend leave with the insights and knowledge needed to take their career and their magazine brands to the highest level.
