Applications to join FIPP, Google News Initiative and FT Strategies’ Digital Immersion Week for Magazine Media closes on Wednesday, 4 August.

Digital Immersion Week is a specialist five-day course for operational managers in magazine media in Europe. 

FIPP and FT Strategies are co-developing the content, which will include case studies from the FT, as an early mover in the digital media and reader revenue space, as well as from leading magazine media practitioners who will discuss magazine media-specific cases.

The programme runs from 9am to 5pm UK time from 30 August to 3 September 2021.

Attending the programme is free. However, to maximise the experience there is only space for maximum 12 candidates and due to the small cohort of participant, we highly recommend that you to submit your application straight away.

What is it all about?

Digital Immersion Week is a programme designed to activate and accelerate publishers’ journey towards sustainable digital reader revenues. 

Over five days, publishers build the foundation for developing sustainable reader revenue, using a combination of inspiration, intervention, and practical guides from experts.

Participants develop a galvanising goal, experiment with interventions to optimise reader engagement and understand how to start mobilising change across their organisation.

Who is it for?

The programme is designed for nascent magazine media publishers embarking on their digital reader revenue journey. They may be from organisations or brands that have taken the early steps towards driving value from digital readers and optimising elements of their reader experience.

The ideal participants are mid- to senior level operational decision-makers who work within the most relevant areas and have a good knowledge of audience engagement and reader revenue growth. They may include publishers, editors, and audience engagement, digital marketing directors or similar. 

What is in it for your organisation?

Each participant will leave with:

  • The tools and knowledge to support the next steps in their reader revenue journey;
  • A customised reader revenue action plan, including a “North Star” goal; 
  • Prioritised engagement interventions to optimise product and UX, and traffic acquisition, conversion, and retention; and
  • A network of peers and experts for support beyond the programme.
