Garant Media Holding launches National Geographic in Azerbaijan
Garant Media Holding has partnered with the National Geographic Society to launch the local-language edition of National Geographic in Azerbaijan. FIPP first covered news of the deal back in February.
The new edition launched on 1 September. It publishes content from the English-language edition and will introduce local content of interest to the Azerbaijani reader. The price for the magazine on newsstands will be 4 AZN (€3.80).
In addition to English, the magazine is now published in 40 local languages.
