We will be meeting with one of the founders, Tim Draper, and also visit Draper University, which trains aspiring young entrepreneurs from around the world.
Q&A lunch meeting with David Liu, Co-Head of Digital Media and Internet Investment Banking at Jefferies. Mr. Liu has over 20 years of experience covering U.S. and Asian technology companies and will provide insights into the trends and developments that he currently sees in the digital media industry. David Liu is one of the sharpest minds in the industry and will no doubt captivate you with his analyses and insights.
Facebook has a global audience of more than 1.2 billion users. It seeks to provide its users with more reasons to stay on its platform and that involves, in part, content. We will have the opportunity to tour the Facebook campus and meet with the director of partnerships who will talk about the ways media companies can leverage Facebook and share more about the new Paper app.

A tour of the offices of Pereira&O’Dell, which are nearly as creative and memorable as its campaigns, completes the visit.
Livefyre helps publishers and other companies integrate social content into their offerings and advertising. It has built a social CMS platform that helps companies engage and monetize consumers through a combination of real-time conversation, social curation and social advertising across multiple channels. Livefyre has expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of the storytelling platform Storify and social analytics from Realtidbits.
Matter is start-up accelerator and early stage venture capital firm that supports and invests specifically in media entrepreneurs building ventures that make society more informed, connected, and empowered. For entrepreneurs accepted into its five month long accelerator program, Matter provides investment, working environment, access to industry-leading mentors, organizations, and investors, and a highly collaborative community and culture designed to help the entrepreneurs be user-centered, prototype-driven, and fail quickly to succeed sooner. The CEO will provide a tour and overview of Matter followed by a Q&A session.
Friday 23 May – San Francisco / Silicon Valley
RocketSpace provides an office based ecosystem for tech entrepreneurs and start-ups.
