Hotelier International acquired by Tecniche Nuove
Hotelier International has licensees in more than 20 countries and Tecniche Nuove has more than 120 magazines, books, events and educational seminars in its portfolio. The company recently opened offices in Switzerland, Brazil and China.
The acquisition enables Hotelier International to offer its licensees services including an in-house international sales department, frontline IT solutions, webinars and events. Tecnichne Nuove already publishes two titles for the hospitality industry in Italy.
Karl-Henry Edström, founder of Hotelier International, continues as international licensing director and also becomes responsible for Tecniche Nuove’s other English language titles.
Edström said: “This is a great day for Hotelier International and all of its licensees. We have experienced rapid growth over the last few years and a lot of resources are needed to be able to serve the licensees in the best possible way. Tecniche Nuove’s impressive organisation will now enable us to take these services to the next level.”

Hotelier International will be headquartered at Tecniche Nuove’s offices in Milan from January 2015.
