Email Switchboard is built on a team with a reputation of being email innovators. It is now building a technology platform for consumer-facing advertisers. The platform will allow them to run cross channel advertising campaign, more efficiently. It will do this by using email as a universal identifier, allowing them to target consumers on any channel or device.
Via the platform, advertisers and media agencies can buy and sell email inventory by audience profile and use the information to target via email or another channel. It automates and brings online the buying process for advertisers and publishers as well as being an email sending platform.
The platform allow publishers with email lists the ability to earn more from their data in a transparent environment without the worry their data will be abused. Publishers will be paid per thousand emails delivered and can place controls on what types of offers are sent to their data and how frequently. Whilst an advertiser gets easier access to email data, across multiple publishers and are given the transparency that is lacking in the current market.
