This is also where we award the FIPP Insight Awards for the best studies worldwide.
The FIPP Insight Forum and Awards is a smaller, more intimate event designed to foster a high degree of interaction, critical discussion and actionable take-outs. This year’s event takes place on 18-19 May at Sanoma’s offices in Hoofdorp, The Netherlands.
Register before 1 April to take advantage of our early bird discount.
In the meantime, here is Nancy Detrixhe, research manager at the Dutch Publishers Association (NUV) (Consumer Magazine Group), about what makes the Insight Forum special for her, summarising it as “inspiring, relevant and useful, and that in a positive, informal atmosphere with good laughs!”
Why do you see value in the Forum and Awards?
The best magazine media research is presented at the Forum. It gives an overview of outstanding research projects from all over the world to promote magazine media/magazine brands. I also appreciate the discussions of hot topics, the ability to collect a lot of new ideas as well as takeaway to use in promoting the medium in your own country. In short, it offers positive and useful insights.
Why is getting together as an industry, sharing insight important?
Besides the results [of studies] we discuss, we – as an industry around the world – are dealing with the same issues. Meeting face-to-face is a very good way to learn from each other and inspire each other.
How does it benefit your wider organisation?
The forum helps us to put results in a broader perspective: international studies often show the same results. We can collate outcomes and it makes the message more powerful. And the forum helps us with ideas for new studies…
What is the top magazine media priority on your radar screen at the moment?
Measurement of the total magazine media audience (across platforms).
