Registrations now being taken for FIPP’s new course, EPIC

For magazine media executives with significant management and strategic responsibilities, FIPP has a new course in 2014 – the Executive Programme for Innovation and Change (EPIC). If you are a CEO or a Board member of a small or medium sized enterprise, or a divisional-level executive at larger company you can now register your place at the Early Bird rate.

The course was developed and will be hosted with Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, meaning it will draw on significant magazine media-specific industry expertise as well as broader management expertise.

The programme, taking place in July in Oxford, UK, aims to help these managers strategically take their companies through times of digital and economic disruption. The course is divided into five core areas:

  • Accepting the challenges of a disrupted industry
  • Understanding quantum strategy
  • Leading Innovation
  • Discovering (and improving) your leadership style and qualities
  • Leading through change

EPIC will be led by a world-class business faculty who will draw on a wide range of case studies from many industries, with additional input from senior magazine media experts and experts from other industries who have successfully transitioned through disruption.

What does it cost?
To make things easier FIPP has organised the fee structure so that it includes;

  • Tuition and materials
  • Accommodation – five nights
  • All meals – from Monday breakfast through to Friday lunch
