Shortlist Media and Groupe Marie Claire to launch Stylist in France
Shortlist Media and Groupe Marie Claire are to launch a French edition of women’s title Stylist. The launch, planned for Spring 2013, is a result of a joint venture between the two companies.
The company says that it will be the first free premium magazine of its kind in France, with 400,000 copies to be distributed in cities including Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Strasbourg.
“Having created such a powerful magazine as Stylist in a market as competitive as the UK, we’re confident that this is a brand that can thrive in many markets across the world” said Mike Soutar, chief executive and co-founder of Shortlist Media.
