The app will pull together content both titles into a single digital edition, published once a week on Thursdays. It is designed to provide a snapshot of news and opinion writing from the two titles, covering affairs both at home and abroad. It will feature news, business and sports coverage, along with features, interviews and investigations.
It will be available in 46 countries and can be purchased through the Apple iTunes app store, with Google Play stores soon to follow. The app will be available on both smartphone and tablet and international subscribers will have access to both products. Readers will get a one-month free trial, after which the app is priced at the equivalent of £2.99 per month in local currencies.
The launch of the new Times of London Weekly app is the second major product release for The App Lab using the Adobe DPS platform.
